Visit one of the world's oldest salt mines, in continuous operation since the 13th century. The Wieliczka Salt Mine is a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring breathtaking underground chambers, salt lakes, and remarkable salt sculptures.

The tour route includes walking through magnificent chambers, underground lakes, and chapels carved entirely from salt rock, including the stunning Chapel of St. Kinga. The temperature underground is a constant 14-16°C (57-61°F), so we recommend bringing a light jacket.
The mine is accessible via stairs (380 steps down) with an elevator bringing visitors back to the surface. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as the tour involves walking about 2-3 kilometers.
